As with any commercial photographer, I find myself in the situation of wearing a multitude of hats for any given client. Take Fox Harb'r for instance.

Fox Harb'r, for those who are unfamilier, is a golf club/resort, located on the Northumberland shore of Nova Scotia, that caters to those who want a bit of everything with their golf. The services range from amazing dining from award winning chefs, facilities for  full convention gatherings, spa facilities second to none, indoor olympic size pool, skeet shooting and foul hunting along with a world class golf course used by many celebreties and pro golfers. They even have their own airport with a helicopter and Jet.

Here I was hired to shoot a variety of areas for promotional purposes. It was also my first time shooting all these subjects at one location. The shoot ranged from interior spaces to food. Being a general commercial photographer you need to treat the spaces/subjects as you see them to give a consistant overall look.

This approach helps the marketing team in their overall endeavours to promote. My approach is not unlike an editorial one. There is a story here and the ambiance is it. I also need to show the available services and their spaces in a positive light that can be used for advertising and internal publications alike.
